Travel with the Tours

Ever been thinking about a weekend trip to one of the LET tournaments, but weren’t quite sure how to get there or where to stay?  Or have you ever wanted to play one of the courses?

Well, it’s easier than you might think and we’ve created DogLegTravel to help.  We’d like to encourage more people to get out and see in person the fantastic golf and talented players that are competing on the Ladies European Tour and LET Access Series.  And also to support the gorgeous host venues and resorts.

The current featured destination is Terre Blanche, host of the upcoming 2012 Terre Blanche Ladies Open.  It’s easy to get to, a fantastic facility, and a great tournament for spectators – the landscape really gives some great vantage points to watch the golf.

We’ll be adding new destinations every week or two.  There are brief summaries of our experiences from previous years at the tournaments, direct links to nearby hotels, closest airports, maps, and other travel tips.

Recent Updates

We’ve updated our Womens Professional Golf Tours overview to include social media links, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr.  Quite a bit of information in there now.

Actually, as for Flickr, we’ve provided the photographs on Flickr during 2011 for the LET Access Series (LETAS). Check them out here.  Lots of great young golfers competing on LETAS over the past couple of years.

And of course, we’re continuing to add events and information to our 2012 Womens Pro Golf Calendar, which combines the schedules of all of the tours & mini-tours into an easy to view calendar.
