The 2nd United Ladies Pro Tour tournament of the season is coming up this week.  The Sun Dog Abbotsley kicks off on 19 July at Abbotsley Golf Club in England.  England’s Kirsty Taylor won the inaugural ULPT event which was hosted in June by Belmont Golf Club.

The winner of this week’s event will not only win a bit of cash, but also will earn an invite to the upcoming 2012 ISPS Handa British Masters (Ladies European Tour) in August.  All of the top five will receive Sun Dog sunglasses according to the tour’s twitter.  It’s a great opportunity for pros who are looking to get in some tournament play during the LET/LETAS July break.

The tour itself is the brainchild of Richard Hemming and is focused on developing new tournament opportunities in the UK and Spain for womens pros and aspiring pros.4
